According to information provided at http://www.foodsuppb.nic.in/Corrigendum.doc Computer certificate is not required in following cases:
Candidates having Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) I.T. Graduates and B.C.A. from as recognized university and candidates who have studied Computers/Information Technology as a subject in their Graduation degree along with productivity applications or desktop publishing applications for at least 120 hours, need not to possess a separate computer qualification
(a) General Category: Rs. 500
(b) Scheduled Caste: Rs. 250
(c) Ex-Serviceman: All the ex-servicemen of Punjab are exempted from the payment of fee
The requisite fee should be in the shape of crossed bank draft/pay order/bankers cheque/postal order in favour of Director Food and Civil Supplies Payable at Chandigarh. Candidate should write his/her name and address on back side of the draft, pay order/bankers cheque/postal order.

Selection will be based on written examination only. There will NOT be any interview.
The question paper will be provided in English and Punjabi. The questions will be of Matric level.

Total Marks: 150
1) Language Proficiency — 25 Questions (Punjabi: 13, English: 12)
2) General Knowledge — 25 Questions
3) Mental Ability — 50 Questions
4) Mathematical Skills — 50 Questions
Note: Minimum qualifying marks for candidates of all categories will be 35% of the total marks. In case some qualifying candidates obtain equal marks then for selection, preference will be given to a candidate with higher score in graduation degree.
